Overview

In Kathmandu valley and around, you will be overwhelmed with fascinating architectural works including palaces, squares and temples in their exquisite Nepalese Newari style. Pokhara valley is situated at an altitude of 900 meters from sea level and 200 kilometers west from Kathmandu which is situated at 1, 300 meters from the sea level.

 

Pokhara is one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal. You will go for boating in the Fewa Lake with a backdrop of snow-capped mountain and the wonderful sights you will see will create unforgettable memories you will be able to share with all your friends and family.

Full Itinerary

  • Day 01

    Arrival day in Kathmandu

    After your Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Your guide will join you and give some information about the program. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore “Thamel”.

  • Day 02

    Explore Kathmandu Valley and Drive to Nagarkot

    After breakfast, the day starts with an extensive pilgrimage tour, the first visit takes place in Pashupatinath Temple – the most sacred Hindu temple of Nepal worshipped to Lord Shiva. Then we explore Kathmandu’s Durbar Square, which is one of three Durbar (Royal palaces) squares in the Kathmandu Valley and we will then visit Bouddhanath.

    The next visit will lead you to Patan which means “City of Beauty”, the second largest town in the Kathmandu Valley, featuring its long Buddhist history. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. After exploring Lalitpur we will drive to Nagarkot which is located at 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu and is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district. It also gives an excellent view of the Indrawati River to the east. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and is known as a place of beauty.

  • Day 03

    Explore Namobudhha, Dhulikhel and Bhaktapur

    This morning you can have the spectacular sunrise view of the Himalays coming from eastern Nepal. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to see Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.
    After breakfast we depart from Nagarkot and drive to Namobuddha.
    NamoBuddha is a very sacred place for the Buddhists. There are couple of monasteries and one ancient stupa erected, in which a person can make offerings, pray and light butter lamps. This sight of Namo Buddha gives beautiful views of the local villages and lush scenery to the visitors. After sightseeing tour around Namobuddha drive back to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a Tourist paradise, the spectacular snow fed mountains seen from Dhulikhel must be one of the finest panoramic views in the world, when a blue haze covers the lower portion of the mountains, and they seem to be floating in the air with the snowy mountains on the backdrop. Dhulikhel is a stage of vast beauty and it’s like a paradise for nature lovers. Green inviting hills of Dhulikhel is still virgin. After enjoying the panoramic view from Dhulikhel we move towards to explore Bhaktapur.

    Bhaktapur is a popular day-trip destination for the tourists. Bhaktapur main square, Durbar square, palace with 55- windows constructed by King jitamitra Malla are the main attractions of the area. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The main attraction of Bhaktapur are three squares like Durbar square, Taumadhi square, and Dattatreya square and visitor can also get the Devine miraculous vision of the largest Shiva lingum, Golden Spout and Gate, Magnificent peacock windows and so on. Popular places of Bhaktapur are Changu Narayan, Nagarkot, Surya vinayak, Kamal vinayak, Siddhi pokhari, chonga Ganesh etc.

    After exploring the city of Bhaktapur we drive to Kathmandu.

  • Day 04

    Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

    Today after breakfast, We drive a car or tourist bus to Pokhara, on the way we will have scenic mountain terrain views, its fame rests on the natural beauty of its lakeside location and its proximity to the mountains. Pokhara is the starting point for some of the most famous treks in Nepal, and there are also plenty of short walks and day trips which can be made around the valley. The main attraction of Pokhara are Fewa Lake, view from sarangkot, Mahendra gufa, etc.

  • Day 05

    Explore Pokhara

    After breakfast, a full day sightseeing of Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu, you can joyfully spend the morning with a trip along the bank of Phewa Lake, you can admiring the beautiful view of the Fish Tail’s Peak reflected in the surface of the water. You can also see the wonderful Annapurna panorama forms a nice backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Aside from Phewa Lake, we keep visiting the Seti River gorge – one of the best places to see. You will have an opportunity to take a glimpse to the limestone cave of Mahendra Gufa and stuning view from Sarangkot, etc.

  • Day 06

    Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, the day starts with a driving back to Kathmandu (5 hours). A farewell dinner followed by Nepali cultural program will great you there.

  • Day 07

    Departure day from Kathmandu

    Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! A representative from Community Trek will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
