Fly to Lukla via Kathmandu or Manthali and Trek to Phakding 2,610m.

Free day in Namche Bazar

After conquering Day 2's climb, it's time to reward yourself with a day of leisurely exploration in the vibrant hub of Namche Bazaar! Today is yours to soak in the mountain town's unique charm, discover hidden gems, and indulge in a slice of local life.

Namche Bazaar boasts a surprising culinary scene, far exceeding expectations for a remote mountain town. Start your day by hunting down the perfect pastry at one of the local bakeries. Savor freshly baked bread, indulge in sweet cinnamon rolls, or grab a quick energy boost with a granola bar. Fuel up for your adventures and maybe even take some treats with you for later.

Trek to Khumjung Sherpa Village 3,790m.
