Day 1

Fly to Pokhara, drive to Hile, Trek to Uleri

Morning in Pokhara:
Rise and shine! Your Pokhara adventure starts at your hotel, where your trusty guide awaits. Together, you'll whisk away to the airport, anticipation brimming as you board your flight. Buckle in for a 28-minute sky symphony, where majestic Himalayan peaks become your window view.

Afternoon Unveils: Scenic Drives and Village Charm:
Touch down in Pokhara, then trade wings for wheels as a 3-hour 4WD drive through rolling countryside unfolds. Watch landscapes morph from urban buzz to rural serenity, every bend revealing a postcard-perfect panorama. In Hile, a delightful lunch refuels your body and spirit for the next leg – your first steps on the Ulerei trail.

Trek to Uleri: Where Adventure Takes Root:
From Hile, a charming village named Thikhedunga welcomes you with its warm smiles and traditional houses. Breathe in the crisp mountain air as you embark on a 2-3 hour climb, each step a brushstroke painting your day with a sense of accomplishment. As you arrive in Uleri, your cozy home for the night, let the satisfaction of conquering your first day wash over you.

Day 2

Trek to Ghorepani

Fueling up with breakfast, your second day kicks off with a gradual ascent. Traverse the quaint village of Banthati, then immerse yourself in a vibrant tapestry of rhododendron forests. As you conquer the 4-5 hour climb, anticipation builds with each step, culminating in the majestic arrival at Ghorepani village. From this mountain haven, your eyes feast upon the breathtaking panoramas of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, their snow-capped peaks painting the horizon. Day 3

Hike to Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani

Poon Hill Panorama: Rise before dawn's first kiss, embarking on a 45-minute hike to Poon Hill, perched at 3,210 meters. As the sun paints the sky in fiery hues, witness a breathtaking spectacle - a 360-degree panorama of Himalayan giants. Annapurna, South Annapurna, Himchuli, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and countless others stand sentinel, their snow-capped peaks mirroring the golden light. Kaligandaki Valley stretches below, adding depth and drama to this awe-inspiring scene.

Tadapani's Tranquility: Savoring the sunrise memories, return to Ghorepani for a well-deserved breakfast before hitting the trail again. Today's journey, a 7-8 hour adventure, takes you on a scenic rollercoaster. Climb to Deurali and Banthati, enjoying the changing landscapes, then descend through verdant forests. The final leg is a 45-minute climb to Tadapani, your cozy haven for the night. As you settle in, let the day's experiences wash over you - the exhilaration of Poon Hill, the challenge of the trek, and the promise of more Himalayan magic to come.

Day 4

Trek to Chomrong Village

Day 4 promises a delightful dance with the sun and mountains. Bathe in the warm glow of sunrise painting the majestic Fishtail peak in a golden brushstroke. Then, embark on a scenic descent to Kumrung Khola, the vibrant river valley bustling with life. From here, the trail gradually ascends, taking you through verdant forests and charming Gurung villages. Finally, arrive at Chumrong, your mountain haven for the night, nestled amidst breathtaking vistas. Today's journey of around 5-6 hours is a gentle blend of downhill and uphill, offering ample time to soak in the beauty of the Himalayas and the spirit of the local villages.

Day 5

Trek to Himalaya (2,890 m / 9,425ft)

Today's trek will be a little longer than the previous days. You will start by descending to Chomrong Khola on steep stones before gradually making your way up to upper Sinuwa. The trail then ascends through stunning bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forests, offering magnificent views of the Machhapuchre and Annapurna snowcaps. Along the way, we will pass through Khuldigar village, before descending to Bamboo Lodge settlements, and finally ascending to the beautiful Himalaya (2,890 m / 9,425ft). The trek from Chomrong to the Himalayas covers approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) and takes about 5-6 hours to complete.

From today, accommodation will be very basic. You may share a room with other guests, and there will be common toilets for everyone.

Day 6

Trek Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,550ft).

Today, we will trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp through forests, past cascading waterfalls, and over towering mountains. Along the way, We will pass the Deurali Village and reach the entryway of the Annapurna Sanctuary, which eventually takes us to the ultimate destination of Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).

As we walk along the trail, we will have the opportunity to get up close to the Annapurna glaciers and be mesmerized by the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the famous Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare.

From ABC, we will get a 360-degree view of several huge mountains, including the Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Machhapuchhre from different angle views, and numerous other peaks ranging from 6,000 to 8,000m in elevation. This is a day you will never forget, surrounded by the sheer beauty of the snow-capped mountains. We will spend the night at the Base Camp.

Day 7

Trek back to Bamboo (2,350m / 7,700ft)

After experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Annapurna Base Camp, it's time to descend back down. We will take a trail that leads us out of the Annapurna Sanctuary and the Modi River Valley. Eventually, we will reach our peaceful resting point for the day called Bamboo Village.

Day 8

Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft)

After a long journey from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo yesterday, we continue our way towards Jhinu Danda. We will first take a short uphill trail through the dense forest to Upper Sinuwa. From there, we will descend to the suspension bridge and cross it. Then, we will take an uphill walk to Chomrong Village, which is full of stone steps. Finally, we will descend through oak forests and eventually reach Jhinu Danda.

Jhinu Danda is a picturesque location renowned for its rejuvenating natural hot springs. It is located just a 15-minute walk from the main village, where we can take a dip in the hot spring and unwind our exhausted muscles. As we soak in the warm water, we can enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the verdant forest and listen to the soothing sound of the Glacier Rivers, which will help us feel a deep sense of peace and serenity.

Day 9

Trek to Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi (1,150m / 3,770ft) and drive to Pokhara (820m)

We have reached our final day on the trekking trails. After leaving Jhinu Danda, we follow the plain dust road along the right of Modi Khola. This part of the trek forms the most relaxing walk of the entire trip. After trekking for about three hours, we will reach Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi, where we will bid goodbye to the trails and drive through the picturesque countryside to Pokhara. We will be spending the night at Pokhara.

Today is your last night of Annapurna Base Camp Trek, and it is customary to have a small party with all your trekking crew and members. You can offer some drinks and food for your hardworking crew to make the last evening more memorable for the entire team. You can also express your gratitude to all crew members with some tips, which will make them happier and bring you a different kind of happiness.

Fly back to Kathmandu
